Ages 3 - 4

Cycle of Seasons (Tots & Tunes) Children will enjoy using all of their senses to discover the world around them.  The life cycle of a dandelion or a frog; turning our bodies into falling leaves that dance around the room. In addition to singing, playing instruments, purposeful movement activities, and focused listening, the children are learning the language of music.  In each class the children echo a series of tonal and rhythm patterns.  These patterns are found in the singing repertoire, and they will be the first patterns the children will learn to read in music notation in the coming years. Class is 45 min long and attended with a parent or caregiver and includes a CD, parent guide and support materials for animal sound identification.
