At Apple Tree Arts in Grafton, Massachusetts, private music lessons are a pathway to growth and self-expression.

Students of all ages receive one-on-one vocal and instrumental instruction, matched with the right instructor to support their goals.

In our welcoming community, each lesson blends skill development, creativity, and confidence so every student can discover their unique voice and the joy of music.

Our talented faculty provide private instruction in the following instruments and arts, as well as piano in a group setting through our Piano Immersion Program.

PIANO IMMERSION PROGRAM

Creative Music Lessons for Curious Kids

The Piano Immersion Program (PIP) is a unique and engaging piano program for curious, creative kids, which combines one-on-one piano lessons with group musicianship classes.

Taught by pianist Corbin Calloway, PIP students get all the benefits of private lessons customized to their learning style and interests while also getting the sense of camaraderie that comes with having fun and learning  alongside their peers.

  • Customized one-on-one lessons designed around each child’s learning style and interests
  • Monthly group classes with music theory games, music history, composition, duets, and peer performances
  • Performance Opportunities:
    • Spooky Recital – Perform in costume
    • I ♥ Music Recital – Pop, rock, and movie favorites
    • Sonatina Festival – Learn and perform a sonata or sonatina
  • Extra opportunities for motivated students, including optional competitions and Royal Conservatory exams

These are not your mother’s piano lessons. Sign your child up for PIP to give them a music education as unique and creative as they are!

Questions About Lessons? Start Here

What are Tuition rates for Private Music Lessons?

These are annual rates, plus a one-time annual registration fee:

  • 30-minute private lessons – $1,800.00, or $180.00/month for 10 months
  • 45-minute private lessons – $2,700.00, or $270.00/month for 10 months
  • 60-minute private lessons – $3,600.00, or $360.00/month for 10 months

Piano Immersion Program rates, plus a one-time annual registration fee:

  • 30-minute private lessons – $2,300.00, or $230.00/month for 10 months
  • 45-minute private lessons – $3,200.00, or $320.00/month for 10 months
  • 60-minute private lessons – $4,100.00, or $410.00/month for 10 months

This registration fee is required to participate in all Apple Tree Arts lessons, classes, shows, etc. and must be collected to enroll your student in the current academic year.

  • Family with 1 student: $60.00
  • Family with 2 students: $80.00
  • Family with 3 (or more): students – $100.00 cap

We do not provide rentals. However, many local music organizations and retailers offer instrument rental programs.

Students are matched with faculty based on time slots and faculty specialties. We do our best to ensure the best fit for both students and our faculty.

A limited amount of financial assistance may be available through grant awards and donations. If you would like to apply, our application can be found here.
